Annunziata DI RIENZO

PhD in Philology and History of the Ancient World obtained at the University of Rome La Sapienza (Italy), jointly with the University of Ghent (Belgium) in 2019 with a dissertation on “Holiness and Power in Syriac Hagiographic Collections”. From 2019 to 2022 she collaborated with the ERC project PAThs, at La Sapienza, working on the codicological description of Coptic manuscripts.
She works in the field of Ancient Christian Literature and History of Christianity, mainly focusing on Syriac Christianity. Her main field is the Syriac Hagiography.
